Hawk Ridge Nature Reserve Education Facilities Master Plan Final Draft and Public Comment Period
[Duluth, MN] The public is invited to review and comment on the final draft Hawk Ridge Nature Reserve Education Facilities Master Plan which was drafted by the Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory (HRBO) following significant stakeholder and public input.
HRBO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization. The organization was incorporated in 2004 as a successor to a committee of Duluth Audubon Society. HRBO manages the 365-acre natural area of Hawk Ridge Nature Reserve (HRNR) under a trust agreement with the City of Duluth.
To review and comment on the draft master plan, the public may visit the project web page at https://duluthmn.gov/parks/parks-planning/progress-in-the-park/hawk-ridge/ and use the comment form provided or contact Cliff Knettel, Senior Parks Planner at 218-730-4312 or cknettel@duluthmn.gov.
The public comment period will close on May 23. Upon incorporation of the final public comments, as applicable, the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Commission will review the plan at its June 8, 2022 meeting.
