Duluth Parks and Recreation Master Plan Review Meeting

The community is invited to attend an open house meeting to review the draft Duluth Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The meeting will be held on Monday, August 23rd from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Parks and Recreation Offices located at 12 East 4th Street (corner of Lake Avenue and 4th Street).

The draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan establishes a blueprint to achieve an economically sustainable park and recreation system.  This public meeting will allow those interested in the plan to review the work at their own pace and to engage in conversation with the consultants, City staff, and the Parks and Recreation Commission.  The public will also be asked to identify their priorities for the future at the August 23rd meeting.

If you are unable to make the meeting, you will have an opportunity to review the draft on the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation website at http://www.duluthmn.gov/parks/master_plan.cfm and click onto Master Plan Draft to view the draft plan. To send us your comments on the plan, click onto Master Plan Comments. If you are not able to access the internet, please call (218) 730-4309 for a copy of the plan.
