Portion of Cross City Trail to close for the month of November due to construction

[Duluth, MN] Due to a wastewater pipe replacement between South Central Avenue and Recycle Way, a portion of the Cross City Trail will be closed until the end of November. The Western Lake Superior Sanitary District is completing the work, and as of November 3 has placed detour signs in place during construction. The detour will route trail users at South Central Avenue to Bristol Street. From there, users will follow Bristol Street/ Mike Colalillo Drive to Grand Avenue.

The portion of the trail that will be impacted will be restored by the end of November and will be usable during the winter months. New asphalt is planned to be poured in this section next spring.
