Portion of the Lakewalk to close in preparation for the fifth phase of Reconstruction Project
[Duluth, MN] In preparation for the fifth phase of the Lakewalk Reconstruction Project, a portion of the Lakewalk will be closed beginning tomorrow, September 28. Contractors will be creating a soil profile and analysis within the planned area to begin the project's design phase.
Sections of the Lakewalk will be closed from the bottom of the pedestrian ramp below Gitchi -ode’ Akiing Park to Water Street. Lakewalk users are asked to stay out of closed sections while work is being done. Work is expected to be complete by October 2.
