The individual was located by the Duluth Fire Department personnel after roughly thirty minutes of searching. Crews brought the individual back to the parking area using one of the department's two All-Terrain Vehicles.
The lost individual did not have any injuries and was not in need of any medical attention. The finding of the lost individual was the result of a joint effort between the Duluth Police Department, St Louis County Rescue Squad and the Duluth Fire Department.
We would like to take the opportunity to remind people to bring safety equipment when using any of Duluth's trails. Flashlights and fully charged cellphones are good items to have when walking the trails in the evening hours.
