Portions of the St. Louis River and Valley West Trails to close for maintenance

[Duluth, MN] Portions of the St. Louis River Trail, and Valley West Trail, a part of the Duluth Traverse multi-use hiking and mountain biking trail, will be closed for maintenance beginning Tuesday, June 1.  Upper & Lower Cathedral multi-use trails will remain unaffected by this closure. Trailhead parking remains open and signage for this closure will be posted at affected trails. For more details on Mission Creek trails, please view our online trails map: https://duluthmn.gov/parks/trails-bikeways/online-parks-and-trails-map. The Parks and Recreation Natural Surface Trails page will also list the open/closed status of the St. Louis River Trail, and Valley West Trail: https://duluthmn.gov/parks/trails-bikeways/natural-surface-trails/. This closure is expected to last through the end of June 2021.

The Lester River Trail, previously announced as closed for maintenance has reopened.
