[Duluth, MN] At 2:21p.m. the Duluth Fire Department responded for the report of a person who had fallen off of his bike within the Piedmont Biking Trail system. The reporting party confirmed that it was he who was injured. First reports were not clear on the patient’s location within the trail.

Firefighters responded and brought with them, off-road vehicles. They reached the patient at 2:38 p.m. just seventeen minutes from the original dispatch. Responders were able to pinpoint the patient’s location using the patient’s phone location.
