This afternoon at 13:08 PM, the Duluth Fire Department responded to a call of a vehicle that had hit a gas meter. Upon arrival Duluth Fire crews found a vehicle lodge against the Tri-Towers building that had sheared the gas meter.
Additional crews were requested to assist with building evacuation. Tenants were asked to leave the building and move to an area away from the building.
The Duluth Police Department was on scene and assisted with establishing a safe evacuation zone, as well as shutting down adjacent streets.
