Duluth natural surface trails reopen to users when Frozen
[Duluth, MN] Duluth’s natural surface trails have reopened for public use if the trail surface is frozen. Temperatures during this time of the year can fluctuate. The City of Duluth’s Parks and Recreation division staff ask trail users to observe good trail etiquette and stewardship by respecting trail closures and avoiding any wet or muddy trails. If you are on a trail and leave a footprint or bicycle tire imprint, it is best to turn around to reduce the potential for additional trail damage. If encountering a wet or muddy spot in an otherwise completely dry trail City staff ask trail users to go through the spot to prevent further widening of the trail.
