SUBJECT: Flag Football Registration Open Now

Register Now for the Parks and Recreation Youth Flag Football League

Registration is now open for this years Flag Football season. Youth Flag Football is a

recreation opportunity sponsored by the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Division for boys

and girls who are going into 2nd to 7th grade this fall. Interested youth who wish to play on a

team should sign up now to meet the August 6th deadline. The cost is $55 per player and

includes a team jersy.

Youth Flag Football is a non-contact continous football action that teaches youth the

fundamentals of the game. Youth Flag Football competion begins early September and runs

until the end of October. There will be three age divisions this year: 2nd and 3rd graders; 4th

and 5th graders; and 6th and 7th graders.

All games will be held at the Wheeler Athletic Complex located at 35th Avenue West and

Grand Avenue.
