INCIDENT LOCATION: 2415 W. Superior St

At 12:43 AM this morning, the Duluth Fire Department responded to the report of fire in the area of 2415 W. Superior St. Upon arrival, crews found an exterior attached shed belonging to this address fully involved with fire.

The fire was quickly extinguished and examination revealed no fire breach inside of the building. The building was not occupied at the time and there are no injuries to report. 

Damage estimates are $75,000 for building and contents. Shed contents included a forklift and refrigeration unit among the items. 

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Any inquires regarding this incident should be directed to the Duluth Fire Department Fire Marshal's Office.

Fire Companies from Lincoln Park, Spirit Valley and Downtown responded to the incident. The Duluth Police Department, Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service, Duluth Comfort Systems and Minnesota Power were also dispatched to the scene to render assistance.
