Parks and Recreation In-person Programming Resumes

[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Division is excited to announce that limited Parks and Recreation programming is back!

Recreation staff has spent the last several months pivoting from traditional in-person programming to online and contactless programming – something that is a difficult challenge as programmers! In the last few weeks, staff has planned how to bring back modified programming to deliver in person this summer.

Programs are designed to engage our community from individuals, family-friendly, to summer camps, and are offered for various age groups. All programs are individually analyzed and modified to ensure we are following the MN DNR outdoor recreation guidelines and the MN Department of Health youth programs and camps guidelines for public health and safety due to COVID-19.

The brochure can be found on our website (duluthmn.gov/parks), and pre-registration is required at this time to help us ensure we’re meeting group size guidelines. To register to visit www.duluthmn.gov/parks/register.
