Third Annual Cold Front Event to be Held This Saturday

[Duluth, MN] The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division will be host its third annual Cold Front event Saturday, February 1. This year’s Cold Event is looking like a Warm Front! Join us to celebrate winter at Bayfront Festival Park with numerous fun activities throughout the day!

Event Schedule is as follows:

10:00 a.m. Kick Off with Mayor Larson

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Free Youth Dog Sled Rides

10:00 a.m. –  Two mile fun run / One mile walk organized by Tortoise & Hare Footwear

10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Cedar and Stone Nordic Sauna. Sign up for your timeslot today by visiting www.cedarandstonesauna.com. Fees associated with this activity.

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. DJ music by Diamond Max

10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Local Vendors

11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. SNOGA by Runa Yoga

11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. SNOGA by Runa Yoga

11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Food Trucks:

Oasis Del Norte: Fresh Authentic Taqueria

T & D Concessions: chili, burgers, fries, nachos, coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino

11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Hay rides

12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Outdoor activities by the Duluth Children’s Museum

2:00 p.m. – Musical entertainment by Maintenance Free

3:00 p.m. –  Musical entertainment by Lonesome Dan Kase

4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Live Band – Big Waves and Bonfires

6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Fire dancing by the Spin Collective

6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Live Band – Whiskey Trail

All Day: Sledding Hill, XC Ski Trail (bring your skis!), Bonfires, S’mores, Food Trucks, Beverages served by Grandma’s, Skating Rink, and other activities.

Luminaries will be lit at sunset

Event information can be found at www.coldfrontduluth.com. Event admission is FREE and free parking is available in the Bayfront Parking Lot. Food and Beverage is for purchase.

Interested in volunteering? We have slots still available on Saturday! Sign up at the website today! We are also looking for groups to help with luminary prep on Friday Jan. 31. Email parks@duluthmn.gov if you are interested.
