Downer Park Trail Construction to begin next week
[Duluth, MN] Construction on a multi-use natural surface trail will begin the week of August 26 within Downer Park, near Vermilion Road. This advanced-level trail, identified within the Duluth Traverse Mini-Master Plan, will provide additional recreation opportunities for adjacent Woodland and Morley Heights neighborhoods while initiating future trail connections between Hawk Ridge Nature Reserve and Hartley Nature Center.
