City of Duluth Parks Commission Annual Meeting is April 17th, 2019

The Duluth Parks and Recreation Commission will be hosting its annual meeting highlighting the growing programming initiative, "Program Your Park – Reimagining Duluth Recreation” on Wednesday, April 17 at the Spirit Mountain Grand Avenue Chalet, 8551 Grand Ave at 4:30 pm. Parks and Recreation, along with other local community partners, will showcase what the community is doing to program our parks! Come share your ideas, feedback, and participate in some fun new programs designed for families! Activities include geocaching for prizes, animal tracking, disc golf and crafts. Keynote speaker of this event will be Mayor Emily Larson.

Tabling and refreshments will be served at 5:00pm and the program will commence at 6:00 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Parks staff will be available before and after the program to address questions.

The Annual Meeting is in lieu of the routine Parks Commission Meeting for the month of April. The next Parks Commission Meeting will take place on May 8th in the Council Chambers at 5:00pm.
