Bayfront Family Center and Rink Temporarily Closing January 29 & 30 Due to Weather Conditions

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division is temporarily closing the Bayfront Family Center and will not staff the ice rink located in Bayfront Park today, January 29 and January 30, due to dangerous temperatures and wind chill. The Parks division anticipates reopening the Family Center and rink on Thursday but will continue to monitor the weather. 

 

The Bayfront Family Center is typically staffed 4-8 PM Monday through Friday, 1-8 PM on Saturdays and 1-5 PM on Sundays. During open hours, the public is welcome to explore the free winter recreation equipment being offered. The Center is also a warming house for ice skaters and offers restrooms and concessions.
