34th Annual Chester Bowl Fall Fest is September 15
[Duluth, MN] – Chester Bowl Fall Fest is a celebration of community and the change of seasons! This year’s 34th anniversary event is scheduled for Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Chester Bowl (1801 East Skyline Parkway) from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Fall Fest will host over 130 vendors selling locally and hand-made items, a farmers market, a great line up of music, 8 food vendors, and activities for families and children.
Suggested donations of $5/person, $10/family will be accepted at the entrance to support Chester program scholarships for kids and families who need financial support to participate in the winter skiing and snowboarding program and/or summer camp. Last winter the Chester Bowl Improvement Club awarded over $26,000 in scholarships to families in need of financial assistance. Donations at Fall Fest last year totaled about $7,700 to support the scholarship fund. The Chester Bowl Improvement Club will be sharing information about their seasonal programming and will have items for sale.
The music schedule includes:
10:00 - 11:30 Emily & the 35’s
12:00 - 1:30 Black River Revue
2:00 – 3:30 Superior Siren (solo show)
Free Shuttle Service:
The public is highly encouraged to use the three free shuttle buses that will run continuously from the University of Minnesota Duluth Parking Lot B, located at the intersection of College St. and University Drive. Parking is very limited near the event, so walking, biking, or using the shuttles is highly recommended. There are a limited number of handicapped accessible parking spots near the entrance to the park.
The planned rain date is Sunday, September 16, 2018, same hours.

This annual event is sponsored by the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division, the Chester Bowl Improvement Club, and Midwest Communications. Donations and Chester Bowl clothing sales proceeds benefit the Chester Bowl Improvement Club and its programming and scholarship fund.
