Public Meeting to Address Interpretive Trail and Signage at Chambers Grove Park
[Duluth, MN] - The public is invited to attend a Duluth Parks and Recreation meeting to discuss construction of the interpretive trail and signage at Chambers Grove Park this fall. The scope of this project is construction of one-half mile trail and installation of interpretive signage that explains the historical and ecological significance of the park area. City staff will share information about the trail layout and location, as well as what can be expected during the construction timeline.
The informational public meeting will take place on:
Wednesday, July 25th
5:30-6:30 pm
Chambers Grove Park Pavilion
Highway 23 & 137th Avenue West
This project is funded in part by a $100,000 grant from Minnesota’s Lake Superior Coastal Program. The interpretive trail will complete the $2.1 million restoration of Chambers Grove Park paid for by $1.9 million in grant funds and approximately $150,000 of City funds.
