Bayfront Family Center Warming House closes for the winter season

 

[Duluth, MN] - The Bayfront Family Center Warming House is closed for the season. This is the first time in 5 years the warming house and rink has been able to stay open into March. January’s cold temperatures created the optimum ice making conditions for Duluth Parks Maintenance staff. The public enjoyed fantastic outdoor skating, free use of equipment and great customer service from Parks and Recreation staff. Besides the free use of ice skates, many more people took advantage of the snow shoes, cross country skis, sleds and snow art supplies. 

 

This free premier winter recreation opportunity is brought to you by the City of Duluth, Parks and Recreation! Future information on summer recreation activities and programs at the Bayfront Family Center will be announced in the coming months.
