Spring Ultimate Frisbee Youth League Open for Registration

 

[Duluth, NN] - The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division is excited to announce the 2018 Spring Ultimate Frisbee Youth League!  The league will build upon growing participation in youth ultimate Frisbee in Minnesota and provide girls and boys, who don't meet age requirements for other leagues, the opportunity to play organized Ultimate Frisbee.  All skill levels are encouraged to register!

 

WHO: Youth ages 7-10 and 11-15.

WHAT:  Ultimate Frisbee league played on turf for two (2) four-week sessions.  Rules and play adapted from Minnesota Ultimate’s Middle School Leagues (http://www.minnesotaultimate.org/mixed-middle-school-spring-league).

WHERE: Duluth Heritage Sports Center (120 N 30th Ave W Duluth) Seitz Arena turf field

WHEN: Wednesdays from 7:00pm-8:30pm; session I:  April 4th, 11th, 25th, and May 2nd; session II: May 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th.

WHY: Encourages and promotes team-building, cooperation, and communication for kids looking to get involved with team sports.

COST: $25 per session.
