The Duluth Fire Department and Public Works and Utilities Department wants to thank the citizens of Duluth for the help they have given to both Departments for the work they have done in keeping grass and brush away from hydrants in the summer and for the help in shoveling around the hydrants in the winter. The Firefighters are out shoveling hydrants and we are seeing the work of citizens who have taken the time to maintain these hydrants maybe year round and we wanted the Citizens to know we are noticing this and we wish to give them a heartfelt THANK YOU! If citizens wish to get information about the Adopt A Hydrant program in their or any neighborhood they simply can call the Public Works and Utilities Department at 730-4130 and they will take down your information.
