INCIDENT LOCATION: 203 North 11 Ave West
At 12:09 yesterday the Duluth fire Department responded to a structure fire at 203 North 11th Ave West. Upon arrival, crews found smoke and fire on top floor of a building that had 3 apartments. The fire was quickly extinguished, but caused around $20,000 of damage to one apartment and displaced 4 renters, who are staying with friends.
Fire Marshall's office investigated and determined cause was accidental.
Fire companies from Headquarters, Lincoln Park, and Spirit Valley Fire Stations responded and were on scene for several hours.
