City Seeks Volunteers For Beach Clean Up November 12

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division is organizing a beach clean up on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 10-11:30 AM to help maintain and care for the beach areas following the storm surge on October 27th. The community also expressed support and interest in providing help to the City. With the amount of debris washed ashore, clean up efforts will be focused on beach by the Park Point beach house, Park Point beach area off of the 12th Street access, the beach area by Endion Station in Canal Park, and Brighton Beach.

or call Cheryl Skafte at (218) 730- 4334. Please dress for the weather. Participants can check in with city staff at any of the four locations to obtain supplies and general instructions.
