City advises no use of Lakewalk Trail in Canal Park due to debris 

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is advising the public that the Lakewalk Trail in Canal Park, and further east out to the 21st Ave East access point, is not passable due to large debris that has been washed up onto the Trail with the windy conditions. City crews are assessing the Trail for any damages and will conduct clean up and repairs as soon as possible. The City staff are working to clear the trail segment in the Lakeside neighborhood. 

 

The City is asking the public to refrain from venturing down to the Lakewalk Trail in Canal Park until debris is cleared and the trail is safe to use.
