NATURE OF INCIDENT: House fire
CASE NO.: 17-10814
INCIDENT DATE: 10/8/2017
INCIDENT TIME: 19:02
INCIDENT LOCATION: 820 N 42 Ave W

At 19:02 hours yesterday evening, the Duluth Fire Department responded to a house fire at 820 N 42 Ave W. Upon our arrival crews found a single story house with fire showing. They quickly extinguished the fire and prevented in from getting into structural components of the house.

Owner of house was transported to hospital for evaluation. Her dog and cat were not injured.

Initial damage estimates are at $50,000.

The Duluth Fire Marshal's office is investigating as to origin and cause of the fire.

Fire companies from Headquarters Station, Lincoln Park, and Spirit Valley responded to this fire. Along with Duluth Police Dept. and Gold Cross Ambulance.
