News conference to be held

August 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth's Director of Public Administration, Jim Filby Williams, the Duluth Parks and Recreation Commission, Hartley Nature Center staff and community partners will host a news conference at Hartley Park on Wednesday August 30 at 10 am to celebrate and highlight the completion of significant components of the Hartley Park Mini-master Plan phase 1, including resurfaced parking facilities and access points, the addition of pollinator meadows, improvements to multi-use trails, and ecological restoration. 

 

These projects are achieved thanks to the support of the Department of Natural Resources Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission and the partnership with the Hartley Nature Center and other community partners.
