Public Meeting to Discuss Improvements to Irving Park

[Duluth, MN] The public is invited to attend a public informational meeting to discuss 2017 improvements to Irving Park located in the Irving neighborhood. Residents who attend will hear about and have an opportunity to provide feedback on the final design.

The public meeting will take place on:

     Tuesday, June 20th

       6:00-7:00 pm

City Center West (Evergreen Senior Center)

       5830 Grand Avenue

Proposed improvements to the park include site lighting, new playground, field improvements, accessible ramp into park, repairs to stairway adjacent parking lot and improved outdoor gathering space near football concession/storage garage. In 2015, the City Council approved the Irving Park Mini-Master Plan which outlines both short-term and long-term improvements to the park and acts as a guiding document for both the City and community partners.  More information about the Irving Park Mini-Master Plan can be found on the City of Duluth Parks website: www.duluthmn.gov/st-louis-river-corridor/neighborhood-parks/
