Public Invited to Help Design Lincoln Park Amenities

[Duluth, MN]- The City of Duluth is excited to invite the public to help design new amenities for Lincoln Park, one of Duluth's first developed parks. The City of Duluth wants to hear your design ideas for a new playground and other park features that will be constructed in the fall of 2017. As part of the Lincoln Park “Places to Play Project”, the public is invited to participate in a family-friendly public event where both adults and kids get to share their ideas for the park in fun and interactive ways.

A free meal will be served from 5 to 5:30 PM thanks in part to the Lincoln Park Child & Family Collaborative and Knight Emerging City Champion Hannah Smith and Ecolibrium3.

The public meeting will take place on:

             Monday, May 15th, 2017

             5:00-7:00 pm

             Lincoln Park Commons, Cafeteria

             2424 West 5th Street

Parking is available in the West 5th Street parking lot between the Commercial Tenant Signs or on 4th and 5th Streets and 25th Avenue West. If you enter the doors on West 5th Street, take a right down the hallway and then take the elevator down to Floor 1 to enter the Cafeteria. If you are entering the doors on 25th Avenue West, it will lead directly to the Cafeteria.

The improvements are guided by the 2016 City Council approved Lincoln Park Mini-Master Plan. The Plan is available on the City of Duluth Parks website, www.duluthmn.gov/st-louis-river-corridor/lincoln-park/
