SUBJECT: Additional day added to "Raise" the Roses Effort

Volunteers needed to "Raise" the roses at Leif Erikson Rose Garden Sunday and Tuesday

Volunteers are needed to help "raise" roses at the Leif Erikson Rose Garden. The Lake Superior Rose Society and the Maintenance Division of the City of Duluth are looking for volunteers on Sunday, April 18th from 12:30-3:30 PM and Tuesday, April 20th from 3:00-6:00 PM.

Experienced rose growers will be on hand to show volunteers how to raise the roses. Bring a small shovel or spade and a pair of leather work gloves. Dress accordingly. Refreshments will be served.
