Duluth Parks Hosting Indoor Skating Event with UMD Figure Skating Club February 5

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is hosting a free indoor skating event with the University of Minnesota Duluth Figure Skating Club members on Sunday, February 5, at the AMSOIL Arena from 3-5 PM. Come out and enjoy a great time skating to music with the team!  There will be a drawing for prizes at 4:30 pm. This event is FREE.  Bring your own skates and helmet. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Participants will be treated to UMD figure skating demos at the start and the end of the event, as well as opportunities to meet figure skaters in full costume, see them execute certain technical elements of their sport and get tips from them personally as they will be on the ice with skaters during the entire event.

 

Co-sponsored by the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation, AMSOIL Arena and the UMD Figure Skating Club.
