Telecommunications Repair Work Planned in Chester Bowl

 

[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation is informing the public about scheduled service to the Sprint Telecommunications antenna located in Chester Bowl Park. The Sprint Telecommunications tower was replaced in summer 2015 with a new antenna, security fencing, and new plantings surrounding the tower.

 

Sprint has informed the City that the antenna is in need of service and will be mobilizing a lift truck on Thursday, November 17, 2016 for the day to make needed repairs. The contractor is committed to preserving and restoring the park grounds to its original state following the repairs.
