The Duluth Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 520 Leicester Avenue at 04:03 this morning, the first fire rig on the scene from the #11 fire station reported a very large volume of fire visible upon arrival. They quickly deployed hose lines and started to attack the fire, as other fire rigs came on scene firefighters started an interior attack on the fire and searched for hidden fires and hot spots. The homeowner stated she heard some noises and saw that something was on fire right outside the home, she evacuated safely to the outside.
