Duluth Parks Commission Meeting is September 14

 

[Duluth, MN] - The Duluth Parks and Recreation Commission will be holding their regular monthly meeting on September 14, 2016 at 5:00 PM in the City Council Chambers on the third floor of Duluth City Hall, 411 West First St. The public is encouraged to attend this open meeting.

Informational items to be presented include:

  1. Park Point Update. Updates will be provided on Park Point projects. For reference, read more at Park Point Small Area Plan
  2. East Duluth Dog Park Naming & Designation: A grand opening celebration was held for the East Duluth dog park on August 26. A recommendation from the City's Commemorative Naming Committee will be reviewed.
  3. 2016 Western Trails Plan. The Trails & Bikeways Committee will give their report at the meeting. A draft of the Trails Plan is located on the website.
