Damaged Lakewalk repaired and open to the public.
The section of the Lakewalk which was damaged recently by strong winds and heavy rain is now repaired. The broadwalk section which is located in Canal Park behind the Comfort Suites Hotel was damaged by strong winds and waves which lifted safety boulders from the side of the walkway. Workers have replaced the boulders and restablished the broadwalk's foundation.
This section and the entire Lakewalk is now open to public.
