Public Input Needed on New Duluth Parks Signage Project

 

[Duluth, MN] - Duluth has an incredible selection of trails, playgrounds, gardens and water access points but the City of Duluth is also aware that improved signage and way finding will enable better access and improved experiences for our park users. Therefore, the City has undertaken an initiative to assess and create better signage and way finding features for Duluth parks and amenities. The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division invites the public to attend an open house on Tuesday, June 21 at 5:30 pm at City Center West (5830 Grand Avenue) to view several style choices for Duluth Park entry signs and way finding features.

 

The City has partnered with Visual Communications, who previously designed Skyline Parkway and Spirit Mountain signs, to assist us in this sign project that will give our parks a more clear, attractive and recognizable brand. We encourage the public to come out and offer input and suggestions. Several designs will be presented for comment.
