Duluth Parks and Recreation Opens Registration for Youth Flag Football League

 

[Duluth, MN] - The Duluth Parks and Recreation Division is organizing a youth flag football league. The league is open to students who will be in 2nd-5th grade at the start of the 2016-2017 school year. Flag football is a non-contact sport, which teaches both boys and girls the fundamentals of football. More importantly, it teaches kids sportsmanship and how to participate in sports while still having fun.

Games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting September 6th and ending on October 6th. All games are played at the Wheeler Softball Field Complex at 3501 Grand Avenue.


Parents are encouraged to volunteer as coaches for their child’s team. Registration deadline is July 15th, 2016. Follow the link for more information and registration form at http://www.duluthmn.gov/parks/sports-and-leagues/
