Boardwalk repairs taking place on Lakewalk Trail

 

[Duluth, MN] – The City of Duluth is informing the public that starting today, March 8, 2016 into the next 2 weeks, the City will be performing repair and maintenance of the board walk on the Lakewalk Trail between the Fitgers complex and ship canal. The City asks the public to be aware and to use caution as they approach monitored work sites.

 

 

The City does not anticipate any permanent closures but may need to implement temporary closures for short periods. Workers will make accommodations for pedestrians during the work. Work will start at the Fitgers area first, as this needs the most repair, and work towards the ship canal. Workers will be repairing the Lakewalk boardwalk Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
