City programs and ice rink activities at Bayfront Family Center to be suspended February 6 in recognition of Hockey Day Minnesota 2016

[Duluth, MN] – In recognition of Hockey Day Minnesota 2016, the City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division will be suspending its Bayfront Family Center open skate and recreational activities on Saturday, February 6. Duluth is thrilled to be hosting Hockey Day Minnesota 2016. This exciting event will bring in thousands of visitors and fans partaking in activities and games throughout Bayfront Park.


Regular programming and open skating hours for the Bayfront Family Center will resume on Sunday at 1 PM. Normal operations during the winter season are:

Monday – Friday, 4-8 pm; Saturday, 1-8 pm; Sunday, 1-5 pm; Special weekday hours during School Breaks, 1-8 pm.

 

Throughout the season on Friday nights, come enjoy an outdoor fire, free hot chocolate and marshmallows.....or come in any evening to sit and warm up near the cozy indoor fireplace.
