                      Duluth Parks Commission Meeting is August 12

[Duluth, MN] - The Duluth Parks Commission will be holding their monthly meeting on August 12, 2015 at 5:00 pm in the Central Hillside Center, 12 E 4th St. The agenda is available on the Duluth Parks website at www.duluthmn.gov/boards-commissions/parks-recreation-commission/. The meeting is open to the public.
 

A couple of agenda items include the current draft Mini-Master Plan of the West Duluth Sports Corridor and a proposed dog park at Riley Road. Comments for each project are being accepted at the upcoming meeting and online using the weblinks, West Duluth Sports Corridor and Riley Road Dog Park. 

The Parks and Recreation Commission assists the City Administration by making recommendations on issues that are pertinent to the development and/or enhancement of existing or future recreational needs of this community; and further acts as a liaison between community needs, the Parks and Recreation Division and the City Council.
