Public Invited to Help Craft Vision for Irving Park and Memorial Park
[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division invites the public to attend two upcoming community "Mini-Master" planning meetings to discuss improvements and proposed renovations to Memorial Park in West Duluth (located on the corner of Grand Ave and N. Central Ave) and Irving Park (located at 57th Ave West and Main Street) in the Irving neighborhood. The purpose of the meetings is to gather public input on future park and landscape uses and enhancements.
The City encourages the public to attend these meetings to provide input, ideas, and express concerns. Anyone unable to attend either meeting, may email comments to Lisa Luokkala, Project Coordinator, at lluokkala@duluthmn.gov or mail comments to Lisa at City Hall, 411 W 1st St., Parks Dept. Ground Floor, Duluth, MN 55811.
The final Mini-Master Plans for Memorial Park and Irving Park will be used as tools for planning and implementing future improvements to the parks by the City of Duluth, with the assistance of community partners.
