 Duluth Parks Commission to Hold Special Meeting June 4,

Public Invited to Attend 

 
 
[Duluth, MN] – The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Commission will be holding a special meeting on June 4, 2015 at 5:00 PM in Duluth City Hall, 411 West First Street, Room 303. The Commission agenda will include a presentation and discussion about proposed amenities for Fairmount Park and the Lake Superior Zoo that includes a “Kid Zoo”, indoor/outdoor play areas, accessible trail connections, and community gathering spaces among other ideas. This meeting is open to the public. Participants will be able to provide comment during the meeting. 
 
 
The Duluth Parks and Recreation Commission assists the City Administration by making recommendations on issues that are pertinent to the development and/or enhancement of existing or future recreational needs of this community; and further acts as a liaison between community needs, the Parks and Recreation Division and the City Council.
