Today, Duluth Fire Chief Bryan Bushey presented Certificates of Commendation to Duluth Fire Captain Scott Klieve and Duluth Firefighter Brian Black for their efforts in rescuing a victim from a vehicle submerged in the St. Louis Bay last November. Said rescue was performed in a professional and expedited manner, resulting in a successful resuscitation and subsequent full recovery of the victim.
Captain Klieve and Firefighter Black showed the extreme value of training and dedication to their roles as public safety professionals. Both men work on Rescue Company One, out of the Headquarters Fire Station.
