Raising of the Roses Event Canceled Today Due to Weather

(Next event is April 26)


[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division is canceling the rose raising event in the DUluth Rose Garden that was scheduled for today, April 21st from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. The current weather conditions are not ideal for this delicate process.

City staff are still planning to hold the Raising of the Roses event on Sunday, April 26, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. Participants should dress for the weather and bring work gloves if they have them. 


The City thanks its many dedicated volunteers who help beautify our City for residents and visitors in our treasured park spaces.
