Public Meeting to Discuss Proposed Nordic Ski Center
[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is inviting the public to provide input at an April 16, 2015 meeting to discuss the proposed addition of a Nordic Ski Center near the base of Spirit Mountain. This project is part of the planned investments in outdoor recreation and tourism in the St. Louis River Corridor with the goal of advancing environmental restoration, improving neighborhood quality of life, establishing the Corridor as an outdoor recreation destination, and stimulating place-appropriate economic development.
The Nordic Ski Center would add high-quality, consistent, cross-country ski opportunities to the existing downhill skiing, hiking, and biking activities already available. Public input and participation is needed to create a venue that meets the needs of the neighborhood, recreational enthusiasts, and is a well designed community space.
The meeting will take place on:
April 16, 2015 at 6:00 pm.
