Public Invited to Duluth Parks Commission Annual Meeting -
Annual Progress Report and St. Louis River Corridor Initiative Highlighted

[Duluth, MN] – The Duluth Parks and Recreation division and the Duluth Parks Commission have worked tirelessly to assess, garner community input, and implmement thoughtful planning for the improvement of our treasured city parks and public recreational spaces. This progress and highlights for 2015 will be discussed on April 15 at the Duluth Parks Commission Annual meeting, from 5:30 – 7:30 PM (program at 6:00 PM) to be held at the Spirit Mountain Grand Chalet, 8551 Grand Avenue.

A special focus of the meeting will be the St. Louis River Corridor Initiative and our partners. As momentum and excitement continue to build for the Initiative, the public has another opportunity to become engaged and learn more about the many  proposed projects that will enhance the River Corridor.

The public will hear from Mayor Don Ness, Parks Commission Chair Ed Hall, and the Chair of the River Corridor Coalition, Noah Hobbs. Participants will also have a chance to see project presentations and talk with the various project partners of the Initiative.

The City of Duluth Parks Commission encourages the public to attend this annual meeting.
