Bayfront Family Center Closed February 14 Due To Expected Freezing Temperatures

[Duluth, MN] - The Bayfront Family Center will be closed tomorrow, February 14, due to forcasted extreme windchills of -20 or below. There will be no special activities for Valentine's Day but the City anticipates opening the Bayfront Family Center on Sunday, February 15 from 1-5pm.

Fortunately, there will be extended hours at Bayfront Family Center all next week (1-8pm, Monday through Friday) to compliment ISD 709's Mid-Winter school break. Indoor skating will be offered each day next week from 2-4 PM at the Duluth Heritage Sports Center, 120 South 30th Ave West.

These events are free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Check for additional winter activities on the Duluth Parks and Recreation webpage, www.duluthmn.gov/media/304972/Winter-fun-brochure-2014-for-web.pdf
