  City Accepting Requests for Qualifications from Artists for

 Chester Ski Jumps Memorial

 
[Duluth, MN] - The City of Duluth is committed to memorializing the significant history of ski jumping at Chester Bowl Park in Duluth and envisions creating a permanent public art installation in the park. Therefore, the City is accepting Request for Qualifications from artists located within a 150 mile radius of Duluth to submit the following:
  • A one-page letter of interest describing experience with collaborative work and desired approach to this opportunity. Include all relevant contact information.
  • Five to ten digital images of recent, relevant work (each file should not exceed 2 MB and be numbered and labeled with Artist’s last name).
  • A one-page biography.
  • A list and brief description of all work samples, in sequence (one page limit).
 Artists should submit 1 hard copy of requested materials and a disc with the electronic files to:
City of Duluth Purchasing Division, City Hall Room 100, 411 West First Street, Duluth, MN 55802. Responses must be received in the Purchasing Division office by Tuesday, November 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM C.S.T.
