Chester Park Mini-Master Plan Public Meeting Scheduled for September 30
[Duluth, MN] - The development of a Mini-Master Plan for Chester Park began in 2012 to address improvements and amenities in the park. This process has involved nearly a dozen public meetings, conversations with stakeholders and input from local citizens. The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation division is inviting the public to an upcoming meeting to review and comment on the final draft of the Chester Park Mini-Master Plan. The final DRAFT of the Mini-Master Plan is located online at www.duluthmn.gov/parks
A public meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Myers-Wilkins Elementary School Media Center. The address is 1027 N. 8th Ave East, Duluth. Following this meeting and public comment period, a revised Plan will be presented to the Parks Commission and the Duluth City Council.
Public input is welcomed and appreciated at the meeting. For those who cannot attend but wish to comment on the current draft of the Plan, please submit comments online at www.duluthmn.gov/parks or email kbergen@duluthmn.gov by October 3, 2014.
