At 0350 this morning the Duluth Fire Department responded to report of a garage on fire. Upon arrival, crews found a single car garage with a vehicle inside involved in heavy fire. Crews were able to gain access to the garage and quickly put out the fire.
There were no injuries reported, and no one appeared to be home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Duluth Fire Marshal. Initial damage estimates for building and contents are set at $22,000. It is unknown if the property owner is insured.
