The Duluth Fire Department is issuing a Red Flag Warning for all of the beaches along Park Point, effective immediately and continuing until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. 
 
A Red Flag means a High Risk of rip currents. Wind and/or wave conditions support dangerous rip currents. Rip currents are life-threatening to anyone entering the surf. All persons are advised to stay out of the water. When conditions improve, you will be notified at that time.
 
Lifeguards are not present at Park Point. All persons regardless of swimming experience are advised to stay out of the water.
 
Be aware of flags and signs at 12th St beach, Lafayette Square, and Park Point beach
